Expertise Profile:
Dale Foerster is a dedicated Software Engineering student at the University of Victoria, expected to graduate in August 2026. With a strong academic foundation, he has honed his technical skills and gained practical experience through various research projects and internships. Dale’s expertise spans multiple programming languages, development tools, and hardware platforms, complemented by a solid grasp of software engineering principles and methodologies.
Dale’s interest in computer vision and machine learning led to his participation with SOLIDS Labs, where he worked on an application to automate the process of annotating ocean image and video data. He will also be working with the INSPIRE group in the Fall of 2024 on the Herluma project, developing applications to support homeless shelters nationwide.
